At Speeds of

The old adage, there can only be one winner in a sporting event is just not true when it comes to racing. Yes, there will only be one driver in victory lane but joining him will be dozens of winners who participated as part of the team. The sponsor, and the special members of their Corporate team, their employees are winners also. At AJP Motorsports, we strive for that winning attitude and expect a total team effort from our crewmembers. Professionalism, courtesy, and a positive winning attitude are an ever-present quality among our team and are reflected in every victory lane celebration we undertake. Anything less would be considered a loss.

We think winning is just as important as how you play the game.

What is A Sponsorship

1.      In auto racing the term sponsorship refers to the amount of money that a company pays to have its product/brand name or service marketed by a race team. Sponsorship can be in the form of monetary participation or participation through the donation of equipment/merchandise. In either case it is paid advertising, or the purchase of space or signage on the race car, hauler, team uniforms, series banners etc with the knowledge of having your name in front of thousands of people during a single racing event.

2.      Sponsorship of a race team has been proven to be a valuable advertising tool for many companies large and small alike. It fulfills the company’s need to advertise and helps reduce the race teams costs of operation. Therefore through sponsorship both the needs of the company and the race teams are met with a mutual and beneficial marketing partnership.

3.      Whether the impression you want to make is with your business related peers, employees, competitors, consumers, or personal contacts, your involvement in motorsports marketing will assist you in accomplishing your goals that few other marketing avenues can aspire to. It has been proven by companies throughout America, that race fans are the most loyal consumers in the product / services market sector today.

4.      Tens of thousands of race fans follow the action each week. And they LOVE IT! Racing events have become one of the biggest drawing cards in the world or professional sports today. Some racing events are far exceeding the attendance of Detroit Pistons, Detroit Tigers, and even the sold out football games at the U. of M stadium.

Who are these sports fans?

They are your typical consumers.

Race fans are an active and vital audience with a significant presence in the marketplace today. Make your Presence felt through participation in motorsports and enjoy the benefits that so many other companies are experiencing today.

The Race Fan

It has become a known fact that motorsports marketing is the preferred avenue used to tap into the lucrative market of the world’s most loyal consumers- The Race Fan. Years ago the automotive industry recognized this opportunity and seized the moment by launching an aggressive marketing campaign that included motorsports sponsorship. This plan was brought forth to increase their market share through brand recognition and loyalty to their products and services. Thus the old saying of “Win on Sunday, sell on Monday.”

Since then, and due in part to the great success that followed their marketing campaigns, everyone from Fortune 500 companies to local companies have made the effort of turning their marketing strategies to motorsports

Today you now see blazoned at racetracks everywhere the popular name brands that flood our consumer world. Nextel, Wrangler, Tide, Dupont, Kellogg’s, McDonalds, Home Depot, companies have interests in racing, including 24 of the top fortune 100. All of these companies enjoy the success of motor sport’s sponsorship and the resultant increased brand exposure and loyalty that comes with their ventures.

The race fans that are attending these events at the local and regional levels are your typical consumers that boast a middle class income along with their buying power of the new millennium. Most are married with children and studies now show that 40% of these fans are women.

The race fan is out there in your marketplace buying and consuming goods while using the services of businesses that are displayed on racecars at speedways in your area. No other sport is growing as fast as racing, and racetracks are playing host to some of the largest crowds in history.

You too can put your name in front of thousands of consumers in a single racing season. Your investment will last at least six months, unlike a one-day newspaper ad or radio spot. Help your bottom line by maximizing you’re advertising dollars and tap into that lucrative market which is so popular with the business world today…… The Race Fan.
